It's time to shop local!

When you shop at your local Farmers Market you are supporting local farmers and supporting your own community. Over the years we've gained insight on how to shop smart. Here's how to make the most of your trip!

1. Make an Early Visit

Farmers Markets are growing in popularity. Beat the crowd by visiting early. Arriving early also ensures that you'll get first pic on all the best produce.

2. Do Not Impulse Buy
Grab yourself a coffee and do a lap around the market. Take a look around and make a mental list of what you want, lap back around and start to purchase.

3. Bring Cash + Re-Usable Bags
Most vendors accept cash only, (pulling cash also allows you to budget yourself).

4. Shop For a Few Days, Not a Whole Week
It can be overwhelming to shop for an entire week. Shopping for a few days will ensure the produce you purchase will not go to waste.

5. Budget yourself for fun purchases!
Part of the experience is budgeting for unexpected finds. Treat yourself to your favorite flowers, a new lavender goat cheese, essential oil, or a new flavored honey! Treating yourself is also part of self care.
